We are so close to the finish line! 

So much has happened since our last update. In Nov 2020, after months of no progress and a lot of prayer, Bindu moved to India to start fostering our future son in country, while the older kids and I stayed in the USA. In Dec 2020, I took the kids to India for 2 weeks to visit mom and meet their new future brother. This was such a sweet time of family bonding. In February 2021, we had our first court hearing, and we received the judge's verbal approval! In March 2021 we received our written court order, making him officially our son!  I flew to India this week to join Bindu and our son for the final pieces of paperwork, and we hope to wrap things up in the next few days. Then home!!!

The last few months have been incredibly difficult, but we are so glad to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And we know the journey of adoptive parenting is just getting started.
