Dear family and friends, I am excited to share some big news with you: I am heading to AFRICA! In a few short weeks, myself and a small team from northwest Arkansas, will be heading to Malawi, Africa on a one-week mission trip. Our mission? To encourage, support, and partner with long-term missionaries and staff at a residential campus called Esther’s House. Esther’s House cares for over 80 orphans and 75 aging widows from nearby villages, and houses 8 children on their campus who have no other home.

I have been asked to join the team because of my experience and heart for children with special physical, emotional, and developmental needs. I’ll be able to come alongside the staff at Esther’s House to partner with them and encourage them in caring for the children they serve.

We leave on October 8th …. only a few short weeks to prepare! We have much to do before we leave, including raising prayer and financial support. Our trip will cost around $2800, which includes airfare, passport, medical preparations (immunizations eek), and supplies to be donated to Esther's House. If you'd like to make a financial donation, you can do so here. We are so very thankful to Pure Charity for organizing and simplifying this part of the trip so we can focus on other preparations. I am humbled by the Lord's grace and leading in this trip. Thankful for my wonderfully supportive husband, family, and friends as they send me off on a last minute trip to do what I love in a region I've never visited. Here are some ways you could pray for me and my team:
