Laura has been serving as U.S. Representative and Advocate for Word Made Flesh Bolivia and the social enterprise SutiSana since 2011, serving survivors of prostitution/trafficking, and their children, providing dignified employment, a place of restoration, and accompaniment on the journey of new life in Christ!  Laura works to bring the stories of these precious women to folks here in the States, seeking to bridge folks here and there.  She advocates through events of all kinds, including the Turkey TROT to STOP Trafficking (TROTtoSTOPtrafficking.com) and sells the beautiful handiwork of the ladies themselves (see sutisana.com.)  

Laura also serves in her local community, in northeast Ohio, through the work of Awareness and Prevention of human trafficking, coordinating events, speaking on the subject, leading preventative groups for at-risk teens, serving on the Prevention, Education and Awareness subcommittee of the Ohio Human Trafficking Commission and on her county’s Sexual Assault Response Team.   Laura delights in her work of aiding Believers in their response to God’s heart for the oppressed!
