It's easy to have a heart for adoption when you realize that you are adopted. That God, in his great mercy, rescued us and pulled us out of our depravity and said "You are mine". That while we were still running away from God he ran toward us and called us sons and daughters. 

For some time, Katy and I have wanted to adopt children. We started the process a year and a half ago, and are truly grateful for those who have already supported us in so many ways. Because of several unforseen circumstances we have changed from our original country of Ethiopia to South Africa. Our home study is complete and now we move into the waiting process leading up to a referral. We are working with Bethany Christian Services. We hope that more than anything we can share this journey with many of you. We are so thankful for the support we have received from our friends and family. 

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $30,000 that will go towards the cost of the adoption. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
