I would rate the average East African pastor high on prayer, worship and enthusiasm, but low on Biblical training. The Good News of Jesus Christ can be bad news if it isn't communicated correctly (of even left out of messages!) I have come to love the pastors and future pastors I've gotten to know, and I can't wait to return to teach in January, just before the scholarship climb.
