Welcome to my Ethiopia 2016 Trip fundraising page!

This past year was full of so many challenges and adventures! In 2015 the Lord called me to enter into new depths of relationship with him in which he has grown and taught me so much- the greatest lessons being a challenge to dive deeper into his word, trust him in all circumstances and to share his work in my life with others. What better way to honor the Lord but to serve him and apply all three of those lessons than with a trip to Ethiopia?!

This summer God has given me the opportunity to continue growing in devotion to him by going to Ethiopia with a group of other young adults from my home church, Watermark Community Church. In June of 2016 our team with embark on a chance to share the good news of Christ with people who have never heard of Jesus before! Growing up in the church and in the “Bible Belt” of America, this seems mind blowing to me but in reality there are so many people throughout the world and, more specifically, in the Oromo Region where we are headed who are craving the gospel. How exciting that God has given me the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus with them!

As I prepare for the upcoming trip, I would be honored if you would partner with me in prayer! Please pray for my team, our Ethiopian translators and disciple makers, and for the people who get to hear about the love and grace of Jesus!
