A little more about me...
I am a board-certified music therapist with experience working with people across the lifespan with various disabilities. I love music, working with children, and have a heart for worship. God burdened my heart for missions months ago but it wasn't until I served in South Africa on a mission trip with the ReMix team from Arundel Christian Church in July that I knew where God was calling me. In the first few days of arriving in South Africa, I knew God would be leading me back there once more. I felt truly alive in the gifts God has placed within me and a peace I can't put into words.
What I Will Be Doing:
As the After Care Director with Abba's Pride I will be overseeing multiple after care programs. These programs have been created to be a safe place for children to grow and thrive. The programs provide nutritional, spiritual, emotional, educational, and physical support to the children in their care. I am so excited to be a part of making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children weekly.
Support Raising:
Abba's Pride is a non-profit faith based organization that helps provide for the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. The organization runs based on donations and support from people like you. In order to fulfill this call, I have to raise the needed support for my salary.
I started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need for the mission. I have a one time donations goal that will go towards the initial cost of getting there (car, housing, furniture, etc.) and also a recurring donations goal of $2000 per month as my salary which will help to sustain me while I serve for the next 3 years. It's been my dream to go and serve and I hope that you will consider being part of this opportunity with me.
Every donation is important and will enable me to be present and help others in need. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Also, I would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
Thank you so much for being a part of my life and helping me accomplish something that's important to all of us!
