C&G: "Hey Braydon - Do you still want a Baby Sister?"
B: "Nah..."
C&G: "Oh really? Would you still be happy if we got a Baby Sister?"
B: "Yes!"
C&G: "Well that's good because there is a Baby Girl due Nov. 13th and she chose YOU to be her Big Brother!!"
Yes - You read that correct. After a long wait, our family (and our village) was selected to be the adoptive family for a Baby Girl due Nov. 13th in Oklahoma City! We were chosen by the 10th birth mother we had been matched for - tenth time is the charm. :)
To say we are excited, would be a major understatement. We are having a baby GIRL!
There is sooo much more to say, but it will have to wait for another post. Thank you for the love, patience, prayers, support, grace, encouragement and everything else we have been afforded over the past year. This is certainly not the end and to answer a common question, no - there is no guarantee we will bring this baby home. The birth mother can always chose not to place this baby for adoption, but this is unlikely and for that we are grateful.
