Hi friends and family!!!

As you all know, we have been matched with an expectant Mama and her baby is due this Month! Because of late ultrasounds we are not 100% sure on a due date but our best guess is anywhere from May 10th- June 1st!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our family. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. We have funded almost all of this on our own, by the grace of God and his unmerited generosity to us. Yet, we do need some help in this home stretch. We had the honor of going to meet this babes Mom and Dad, that trip alone was just over $1,000 that we didn't budget. Once baby is born, we will need to spend around 2 weeks there waiting for approval to cross state lines and travel home. Our kids will be with us for most of this time and so we need a hotel or Airbnb that can accommodate all of us for this time! We will also have around $4,000 of post adoption fees as well as around $2,000 to finalize in court. This is why we have set a goal of 10,000 to help us complete this adoption.

We are only sending this to the very small circle of you who know about Morgan and the baby. Please do not share this with anyone until we have publically shared our news!

We can not thank you enough for the support and prayers you have given us not only in this process but through the years in every up and down when it comes to adding to our family.  We know how loved this new baby is already and we feel so humbled to have people like you in our lives as we set out on yet another journey to bring a child home.
