We are officially just two weeks away from departure for our mission trip, and our hearts are filled with anticipation for all that God is preparing to do.

As our team continues final preparations, I wanted to share a glimpse into the work ahead and invite you to continue standing with us in prayer.

During our time there, we will be participating in five days of medical missions and community outreach. The doctors and medical professionals on our team are preparing to care for a wide range of needs, including infections, vitamin deficiencies, wound care, and other common health concerns affecting the local communities.

In addition to medical treatment, others on the team, including myself, will be helping provide education on hygiene and daily washing practices, especially teaching the children, and providing reading glasses. These simple but life-changing lessons can help prevent illness, restore dignity, and bring hope to families.

We will also be attaching a guide outlining some of the common illnesses and conditions we expect to address during the medical clinics, along with a prayer calendar to help align our hearts and prayers together each day leading up to and during the trip. Participants will also visit a spiritual care station during the clinic time where the gospel is shared and they will have an opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

* Wisdom and discernment for the medical staff

* Open hearts within the communities we will serve

* Safe travels and smooth logistics

* Lasting impact, healing, and encouragement for every person we encounter

* Strength, humility, and compassion as we serve
