BIG NEWS! I am excited and honored to be a part of 99 Balloons trip to Nicaragua in July!

We are heading back to Nicaragua after our recent visit in January. Participants will be supporting 99 Balloons’ Global Partners in Northern Nicaragua.  In addition to experiencing the story of disability in Nicaragua, team members will provide training and assistance for caregivers and children.  There will be a special focus of assessing the medical needs of the children we have the privilege of meeting. Participants will not only be serving the immediate needs of the families, but also developing a plan for future trips to Nicaragua.

I started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need for the trip. My goal is to raise $1700 to cover the cost of the July trip so that I will be able to serve on this team as well as return in August with the building team to Diriamba working with the NCO.  I am looking forward to serving with the team using my skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide training and assistance for caregivers and children in Nicaragua and I hope that you will consider being part of this opportunity with me.
