Jasmine was brought to Grace House by her loving father, who due to his declining health was no longer able to care for her.

Jasmine’s mama passed away shortly after her birth leaving Jasmine’s care to her sick father, and ten-year-old sister. When Jasmine’s father’s health declined to the point he was no longer able to care for her, he sought help from extended family members. They too were faced with the responsibility of raising their own children without adequate resources and couldn’t bear the extra burden another child would bring. We remember the day we received Jasmine at Grace House – her father’s loving eyes and smile towards his daughter were etched into our memories forever, and we rejoice that one day we can tell how her father loved her with all his heart. Jasmine’s father passed away in January 2018, and his legacy of love is one we pray will be passed down to ‘Jazzie’ and also help her come to know how great her Heavenly Father’s love is for her as well.
