The past few weeks have been filled with running around between different doctor appointments (and getting psychologically evaluated), getting fingerprints done (multiple times), taking online adoption education courses, making lots of signs for our Etsy shop (then trying to figure out how to ship them), hosting our first ever Airbnb guest, and weekly phone calls with our agency. Now we've started to do some more random things like track down a letter from our veterinarian making sure our pets aren't vicious and that they don't have rabies.

We are currently in the middle of our home study. We've finished up and submitted a lot of the initial paperwork and are waiting to start meeting with our social worker...which hopefully is super soon! The sooner we get started with these visits, the sooner our home study can be reviewed and submitted...and the closer we are to bringing our kiddo(s) home :) 

We have been so blown away by how God has provided the exact money we need at all of our due dates. Just the other day we had a large chunk of money due and were $200 short. Then, one of our friends unexpectedly gave us a $200 check. A lot of times we've felt like we have no idea how we're going to meet our next financial due date and it's been amazing to see God provide exactly what we need.

We're really thankful for everyone who has been a part of this journey so far through both prayer and giving of finances. We still have approximately $28,000 of expected costs and are hoping to raise about $15,150 through direct donations on our Pure Charity account to go towards our agency fees.
