On April 21st, I'm running my 10th Boston Marathon and it's about time I started running for something greater than myself. In light of the ugliness of last year's bombings, I want to do something beautiful for those in greatest need.
This year, I'm raising money for The Exodus Road - an organization that rescues children from sex trafficking and slavery in Asia, India, and even the US. I'm asking you to please donate a minimum of $26 ($1 for every mile of the race I run). Of course you can donate more if you're able, and even smaller donations are welcome too.
In only a year and a half, Exodus Road as rescued 253 children and offered the rehabilitation, support, and medical care to help them live a better life. They've done all this with just under $1million raised so far. My goal is to raise $4,000 (enough on average to rescue and rehabilitate one child).
Thank you so much for joining me in changing lives and making the world a more beautiful place. I believe we are at our most potent and most creative when we come together in service of others. Thanks for helping me make this year's run count!
Love,
James
