Hello Fellow Jailbreakers!

In the two years that I've been a part of this community I've discovered that it's full of a lot of wonderful people who do a lot of AMAZING things. Some of the brightest and most creative people I've ever met are found here, but also some of the kindest and most generous. As a result, I've decided to call on the community to help me to make dreams come true for a close set of friends.

This family is hoping to adopt a young boy from China. His name is Milo. Milo is 9 years old and deaf. This family is already heavily involved in the deaf community and does a lot of work for and related to the deaf, including teaching free sign language and deaf culture lessons to Elementary through High School children.

They have a little over two-thirds of a year until the deadline for funding and so, while I am donating personally, I also hope to enlist the help of a few of you.  :)

So far I have been contacted by six tweak and theme developers who are looking forward to offering items for purchase to help support this cause. More details on those items and developers will be coming soon. If you are a tweak or theme developer and would like to get involved, I'd love to have you on board as well! 

In the meantime, if this project appeals to you at all and you want to help, feel free to donate now before the campaign begins! Even the smallest donation would be greatly appreciated!

GREAT NEWS! We've decided to adopt a child from China.  He is 9 years old and deaf.   We're so excited to give a child an opportunity to grow up in our home and teach him  the best things that we know.    His name will be Milo.   

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have to raise a total of $35000 to pay for the adoption process.  As a military family of 6, this is obviously a lofty goal.    We are hoping some of it will come from generous donations. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality. 

Every donation is important and will help make this adoption a success. Would you kindly consider making a donation? Even $5, $10, or $20 adds up!  Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
