We have BIG news!

We are so excited to share the news that we are adopting domestically! We believe that God has called us to carry out His gospel through adoption as stated in James 1:27.

Dale and I have always had a desire to adopt - even since before we were married. Although we always thought we would have biological children first, God has made it clear to us after the last 2 1/2 years of trying to grow our family biologically, that His plan is for us to adopt now! We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home!

We started the adoption process with Christian Adoption Services in January to adopt an infant from North Carolina. We finished our home study visits at the end of May and are hoping to finish up the last paperwork this month! Then we become a waiting family, and then we wait... and pray for our future son or daughter as well as their birth parents!

As part of our adoption process, we have started a fundraising campaign to help offset the cost. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more. We can't do this alone. It takes a village to walk through the adoption process - emotionally, financially, and prayerfully. We would love for you to join us in this journey through prayer and/or financially. We appreciate your support through this joyous journey!

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We look forward to one day sharing with our child all the love and support we have felt through this process!
