Vocational Training Center: Sewing and Knitting Machines
Part of our educational training program with the Batwa is vocational training to help the Batwa to rise up and out of poverty and to be able to support themselves with a skill or craft so that they can enter into our entrepreneurship program. Our goal with this fundraiser is to purchase 10 sewing machines and 10 knitting machines at $125 each.
Not only will these sewing machines be used for our rising youth, but they will also be used with the Batwa adults who have expressed interest in learning new skills to help support their families. The impact of this project will be huge as it will give them new skills and new opportunities that will be able to impact generations to come.
