Hope & a Home for an Ethiopian Orphan
by Kidmia Ethiopia Opportunity
Bedlu was abandoned at just 5 days old. After living at Kidmia's Child Transition Center for 7 months, he's now a healthy, strong, beautiful little...
Abandoned as an infant and found by a police officer last June, Bedlu has been adopted at last!
His new parents, Daniel and Tigist, run a school they opened in the outskirts of Addis Ababa. Even though they often felt like parents to their students, they still longed for a child of their own. Eventually, God led them to adopt a baby boy from Kidmia.
Bedlu’s name, given to him by the officer who found him when he was just five days old, means “one who lives by chance,” and represents the hardship he faced as an infant. However, after finalizing the adoption, the judge also approved his new name, Eyobed Daniel, as a symbol that he is no longer on his own.
Because of your support, Eyobed is no longer an orphan. He has been blessed with a family who loves him! He has been given a new name! And we praise God along with you at this wonderful news!
