After more than two years, we are finally home with our beautiful daughter Jamuna! We had to spend a long month in the Indian summer heat (105º average temps) waiting for court dates and passports and visas, but it was all SO worth it to finally bring her back to her forever home. We are settling back into the day to day and adjusting to our new "normal" as she goes through the even larger adjustment of settling into her new "normal". Everything is new to her and we are taking each moment slowly so that she doesn't become overwhelmed, but she seems to be adjusting really well and loves her new bedroom. We are so thankful to EVERYONE that donated, prayed, and supported us through the last 28 months in this process.
