Muraho! 

I am so excited to share this campaign with you as it is so incredibly near and dear to my heart. As an employee of Africa New Life for the past 2 years I have seen the impact that this organization is having all across Rwanda. One of the incredible programs that I have had the opportunity to advocate for is our Women's Vocational Training program. The vocational training program offers vulnerable women the opportunity to learn sewing or cosmetology, marketable skills offering a future of employment and the chance to escape poverty. Each year this program moves 80-95 women and their young children toward a better life.

I am SO excited to share that starting this January, one of the women that is going to have the opportunity to go through this program is Job and I's sponsored boys mother, Ganza Dativa. I met this special family a couple years ago when we first started sponsoring her oldest son, Elvin. We have watched as Ganza has done her best to make ends meet for her sons, Elvin and Odi. Unfortunately, Ganza is a 27 year old single woman who did not have access to education at an early age. She has now been left to raise a 10 and 6 year old, Elvin and Odi, alone. Without an education, it has been nearly impossible for her to keep a steady job. I have watched as the landlord has threatened to kick them out of their own home many times and as there has not been money to put food on the table. However, now Ganza has been given the amazing opportunity to go through the women's program with Africa New Life. This is truly going to be life changing for her. 

After going through this program, Ganza will have employable skills to be able to create a business and provide for herself and the boys. I am advocating for this precious family who has become like family to Job and I and am asking for you to join with me to be able to scholarship Ganza for one year through the sewing program. The scholarship of $1800 is a gift of education, discipleship, and nurturing to especially vulnerable Rwandan women and their families. Your one time gift is a donation to help cover the costs of materials, teacher’s salary, daycare, and more for Ganza.
