Tri Cycle Farms’ mission is to grow community through soil as we steward food awareness, education, and empowerment. We envision a world of food security, sovereignty, and sustainability for all. Our target population includes community members who are vulnerable to food insecurity in Washington County. These populations include the homeless; school children K-12; college students; neighbors; veterans and the elderly living on fixed incomes.

The Tri Cycle Farms’ distribution program has been in operation for approximately 5 years. We deliver food and resources to community members, nonprofit food pantries and meal programs across Washington County. This program includes our established plant and seed share events, harvested crops and eggs from our 2-acre farm-park, and the food recovery program (in partnership with Whole Foods Market Fayetteville and Natural Grocers). We currently deliver an average of 500 pounds of food per day to partnering organizations. Distributed items include recovered food, plants, floral bouquets, gleaned foods, donated foods, and household commodities. In 2020, we served 16 nonprofit partners and delivered 129,947 lbs. of recovered foods conservatively valued at approximately $348,231.23.  We also delivered 32,894 fresh baked buns donated by Rockin’ Baker valued at $ 13,158. Through our Plant and Seed Share program we have also served over 150 community and family victory gardens.

A donation of any amount helps us help others. All donated funds will be used to help cover general operations and the continuation of programming. Thank you for your for being an active member of our community!
