Arguably, no school in Northwest Arkansas is more effective at partnering with parents in a classical, college-preparatory education at the K-12 level, to God's glory. Niche.com ranks Providence's high school program as #1 in the region, for that matter. Character development and academic readiness at Providence Academy tell a compelling story. Administrators strive for continuous improvement. Teachers instruct with efficacy and passion. Parents and students are engaged. We are about Building Family Connections, Building Leaders for Christ.
Some schools benefit from being an outreach of a local church or denomination, and others benefit from tax dollars. Providence Academy is an independent, private school, so we do not have those supports. In 2020-21, a record number of families have needed financial aid to afford the classical, Christian education offered at Providence. Many of these families were impacted financially by the global pandemic. We incurred additional expenses related to providing a safe and healthy environment for students, parents, and staff.
Our number one priority with NWA Gives funds is to provide a "Faculty/Staff Blessing" to appreciate our staff in this unusual year! They have shown remarkable dedication and we want to express gratitude n the form of an honorarium. We would also like to bolster our Faculty/Staff Compassion Fund for staff that have needs that arise.
So, we are particularly asking for donors to consider these primary objectives for NWA Gives 2021:
