Have you ever wondered, "what am I going to do now?" Imagine if you had just suffered a debilitating injury. In the weeks and months following diagnosis of severe illness or injury, people are often left wondering. Our organization wants to build that bridge between injury and recreation with our adaptive sports association. Not only is it recreation for those left injured or disabled, but it is also a community of like-abled individuals who understand what they are going through.

Ozark Adaptive Sports Association (OZASA) is an new non-profit organization, founded in 2019. Since our inception, we have purchased necessary adaptive sporting equipment, and now are looking to purchase a trailer to transport the equipment to and from open play, practice, and tournaments. This will make our organization more effective, because we are endeavoring to supply as much of the starter equipment to our members at little, or no cost to them. Without your help, our members are not be able to play; it is not as simple as a pick up game of ball at the local court, adaptive sports require specialized equipment which is costly and cumbersome to move and store.

Our goal this year is to raise $6,000 to purchase a cargo trailer by April 30, 2021. Donations earned through NWA Gives 2021 will help in the purchase of the trailer. This is a necessary item due to a lack of onsite storage space at the Springdale Rec Center, we need your help to purchase our trailer, to ensure the safe transport and storage of the expensive adaptive sports equipment our community relies on to discover what is next for them.
