We are adopting a child!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. 

We have always talked about adoption and throughout the years our desire to adopt has only grown. We are so fortunate in love and life and we want to extend that to a child or children in need. There are so many children in our country and the world who are in need of a family and we are hoping that we can change the life of at least one. Over 250,000 children are placed into the foster care system each year in America.

    We are currently overseas but have chosen to adopt domestically (US). The journey has already begun and it may surprise many that the adoption and related costs can easily surpass $35,000.

Here is a list of some of the expenses:

Home study: $2,500

Base agency fee: $22,975

Lawyer’s retainer fee: $3,500

Travel: TBD

In addition to fundraising we are applying for several adoption grants. Your prayers and support mean the world to us.

    Every time we see our children’s sweet faces, we can’t help but think of the thousands of children who don’t have the love and support of a family. Raising our children and spending time as a family is when we feel the most joy. We are committed and will continue to make the sacrifices needed to shower another beautiful child with all of the love and attention they deserve. We hope you will assist us in our journey.
