We are adopting a child!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $5000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.

We are Danny and Rene Kaspar. We've been married for 7 years and are thrilled to be welcoming a daughter into our family. We have two wonderful sons from my husband's previous marriage, but I have no children of my own. Of course I always dreamed of meeting a man, falling in love and having children with him. God had a different plan for me and led us to a beautiful little girl on the other side of the world. He thinks she's so special He even gave her an extra chromosome. We cannot wait to have her in our arms.

We have prayed about what to do concerning the financing of our adoption. As many of you know, it has been a very active hurricane season. Unfortunately, my husband and I are right in the middle of all the devastation that Hurricane Harvey caused. Fortunately, we have been very blessed personally. With that being said we have felt very uncomfortable about asking for donations considering that so many people that we know personally have lost everything. How could we possibly ask for money when so many people are rebuilding their lives? However, after praying about it we have decided that bringing our daughter home is also important and the divinely appointed kindness of a stranger has prompted us to reconsider fundraising. Any amount will help and we are beyond thankful to you all for helping us in this journey to bringing our family together. God bless you all and thank you so much!
