My Journey

With every trip I’ve experienced, all over the world, the desire to serve full time overseas has grown. The moments that I cherish with families, women and children that I have met will always be with me. I have seen suffering and hardship, and even more I have seen the darkness of lives lived without the hope of Jesus. Those moments and people have forever changed my life. It is because of this I have been seeking a way to serve the Lord among the poor and in places that people are spiritually lost.

 Word Made Flesh

 Many of you may remember this name from my first trip to India, that trip changed me greatly. Not only seeing the culture and needs of the people across the world, but being able to experience life among the poor gave a unique experience that I shared with them. The time I spent there has never been paralleled, mostly due to the fact that I spent four months there, that length of time allowed for a connection and a greater impact on me. Knowing that an extended length of time is the best way to connect and develop community I am so excited to commit to serving for three years with Word Made Flesh in Thailand!

 Word Made Flesh is a mission organization that works with broken and exploited people around the world. I am working in the Thai community as the Short Term Program Coordinator, to facilitate and help lead others journey’s through developing community with the poor and vulnerable.

 I started this fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need to support my entire yearly salary. My biggest need is for recurring monthly supporters; this financial support will help to sustain me while I work with Word Made Flesh. I hope that you will consider being part of this journey with me.

I am asking for your financial support in order to do the work that God has called me to. I need to fundraise financial support in order to be a full time staff member with Word Made Flesh. With your generosity we have the ability to bring about changed lives, and your personal support would truly be making an eternal impact.

I believe that we all have different seasons of life where God calls us to be ‘senders’ or to be ‘goers’ out in the mission field. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to work with Word Made Flesh. I pray for each of you reading this, that you would so clearly feel the call of God on your own life.
