** Thanks to you guys, Jill and I already funded 1 teacher salary this year...now help us fund number 2! **

Over the past several years, Jill and I have absolutely found these words from Nelson Mandela to be true.  We have been deeply involved with Help One Now for 4 years now, and we believe that nothing has more of an impact on a community than EDUCATION…It brings hope for students and parents alike.  It fights injustice, prevents trafficking, promotes health, confronts the roots of poverty, and paves the way for opportunity & lasting change.

And the key to a good education for any child is a good TEACHER.  So Jill and I are raising money to fund 1 teacher salary and training for 1 year.  $2500.  That's it!  If 100 of us give $25 (which a lot of us spend on coffee in 1 month), then we could EMPOWER A TEACHER FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR!  And that would empower approximately 30 children for an entire year…and their parents will also be empowered, knowing that their children are in a safe learning environment while they are out working.  And when an entire generation receives a good education in countries like Haiti & Uganda…the ripple effect will be immeasurable!

What is Help One Classroom?

Help One Classroom, and initiative of Help One Now is an ongoing campaign to invest in the education of children in Haiti & Uganda. Education transforms communities & breaks the cycle of extreme poverty. And it all starts with Teachers. A good teacher makes a world of difference, so we are raising funds for teacher salaries, training and supplies. By ensuring that the teachers can provide for themselves and their families, and equipping them with necessary supplies and training, we enhance the education our students receive…we bring opportunity & hope to entire communities.
