Hello everyone! We have some exciting news to share!

WE’RE ADOPTING A BABY!

Since the very beginning of our relationship, Chris and I have talked about wanting to adopt additional children, after we biologically have a few. We’ve since been reminded that everything happens according to God’s perfect will, and his perfect timing. Since we’ve experienced infertility over the years, God has led us to start this beautiful adoption journey on his timing:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”   Jeremiah 29:11-12

The reason for creating this page originated from people asking what I would like for my birthday. I could not come up with an answer since we have been so blessed throughout the years, especially during this pandemic. That being said, the birthday gift that came to mind is to invite our family and friends to help us prepare to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as a part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. Of course, we’ll also provide updates along the way. In the meantime, please know we are truly grateful for your support, whether it is in the form of a tax-deductible donation or the always needed and appreciated prayers, and words of encouragement.

Throughout this continuous learning journey of the adoption process, we have discovered why adoption-related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more. These expenses include:

• Home Study to ensure the suitability of the home and Adoptive Parents for raising a child

• Legal representation for both Adoptive Parents and Expectant Mother

• Support of medical and living expenses for the Expectant Mother

• Applicable travel expenses if our future child is to be born out of our local area

Just as if the child was being carried in my womb, it is important for us to provide the necessary support through the adoption process to the Expectant Mother, to maintain the best environment for our future baby.
