Jeff and Jen have known that God wanted them to care for missionaries long before they ever went to the mission field. In 2017, God opened the door to a great opportunity for them to do missionary care in a tangible way in Tanzania. Through a partnership with Sifa Threads, Jeff and Jen have a property that offers several guest houses and a beach house that can provide a place of refuge for weary missionary families. In some cases, this is a place for them to stay when they have business in Dar es Salaam, in other cases it is a place for them to rest and just breathe for a period of time. This is critical for the longevity of those families that are in the field serving the people of Tanzania. It is the Schmidt’s heart to be able to provide this refuge for free as a blessing those that need it most.
