We're thrilled to be Making Room 4 One More!

About 6 years ago, God burdened our hearts for the orphan. Yes, we had 4 little boys, but we knew that we had love and room in our family for more. So, we started exploring the possibilities.... domestic, international, baby, toddler! So many options! 

We started the process for a Russian adoption in 2012, but God graciously steered us away from that months before Russia banned adoptions to the US. We found ourselves once again providentially drawn to Ethiopia. No perfect reasoning here, except that God knew our daughter was there. The country requirements fit our family, and we started the process. 

Paperwork takes a long time, and our dossier was finally in Ethiopia by spring 2013. We saw our daughter's face for the first time via email (our referral!) in June 2014.

We travelled to meet her and adopt her in February 2015!!  Now we need to cover the costs to make one final trip and bring her home.

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to be able to complete this adoption process. We have a donations goal of $2735 that will go towards our final travel costs.
