Children with special needs in Uganda are often pushed to the margins of a society steeped in poverty. Often due to disability, individuals are seen as cursed; Ekisa has become a loving home to many of these children. We invite you to see past the disability and to their humanity.

Due to varying levels of difficulty with swallowing and eating, many of the children rely on milk to be a source of much needed nutrition.  We have helped fund a goat farm that will supply fresh milk and are now trying to help them with a refrigerator that will sufficiently meet the nutritional needs of the entire house.
