We are so thankful for your willingness to help us with our adoption process. This page has only been up for 2 weeks and we are already more than halfway funded!

 I wanted to share with you where we currently are in our adoption process. In October of last year we started the process by filling out paperwork for Madison Adoption agency to get the ball rolling, and we were accepted as candidates for process. Yay!!!

 Starting in December we met with our social worker to get the home study started. We were so thankful that the social worker was extremely motivated like we were to do things as quickly as possible so we can start the next step. We met with her 4 times: 3 times we traveled to her office and discussed everything from, why we wanted to be parents to what parenting techniques we would use. The 4th time we met was at our apartment in Chicago. We had to have our home inspected to make sure things were in working order.

 Since then we have had to do special online training courses about parenting and adoption. This has been a very time consuming part due to the fact that we have to have so many hours done, but we are making progress and getting them done.

 And that is pretty much it for the work we have, or are doing right now.
