Bethel World Outreach Church and Bethel World Outreach Ministries, International Medical Missions to Monrovia, Liberia West Africa
The Bethel Medical Missions Ministry was established in January 2005 as a Ministry of Bethel World Outreach - City of Hope and soon after was also established as a Ministry of Bethel World Outreach Ministries international.
While those Healthcare professionals going to the mission field originally came from City of Hope, those serving have expanded from Bethel Churches throughout the USA and Africa.
We have served on the mission fields of Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo (twice), Cameroon, Liberia (twice), Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia.
This mission will be our third medical mission for the people of Liberia.
OUR LAST MISSION:
To God's Glory Bethel World Outreach Church Medical Missions Ministry completed 4 days (May 24-27, 2016) of dynamic medical care to the people of The Gambia during the 15th bi-annual BWOMI Pastors and Ministers Conference in the suburbs of Banjul.
We provided free medical care and medicines to approximately 1100 people. We provided over $110,000 of medicine free to the local community. The 9 medical personnel who traveled from the USA lead by Deacon Yvonne Brooks-Little worked along side 10 local Gambian medical personnel.
Our model is to develop teams in each country who will also work with us on future missions globally.
The Ministry's Director , Yvonne Brooks-Little" thanks God for planting His vision in our hearts to serve on the Medical Missions field of the World. I am humbled, honored and thankful to have lead men and woman to serve on the mission fields of Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Liberia, Cote d'Ivoire and those to come. Thank you Bishop Darlingston G. Johnson for your leadership. I also thank my family & friends like family, my friends at Victory Court Apartments, and BWOC City of Hope congregation for their prayers and support.
