I think you can describe February with one word....rainy! We have had lots of good rain this season, which hopefully means good crops for all of the community children in our program!
Despite the rainy weather, the kids have been doing a great job coming to Esther's House daily for Spiritual Development, Tutoring, Lunch, and Skills Classes.
So far this year, all of boys have received shorts and all of the children have received shoes and T-shirts! Thank you sponsors for making all of this possible!

(Doreen is modeling her new T-shirt!)
This term, the kids are having fun in Skills Classes. They were able to choose between NetBall, HandSewing, Drama, Bible, and Occupational Therapy. Pictured below is Lonjezo having fun working on some fine motor and spatial skills as he puts together a puzzle.
Willi, Stonard, Wisdom, Isaac and Nedson are perfecting their sewing skills.
All of our kids are taking mid-term exams currently. The kids are working hard and we are thankful for the skilled Malawian tutors who are working so hard to help our children achieve their best!
Limbani K., Chimwemwe, Isaac, Precious, Enetie, and Tikhala are studying hard to pass their Standard 8 exams in May. This test is really important, as the results will tell whether or not they can get into Secondary School next year.
Essau and Belinda are taking their Form 4 MSCE exam (12th grade). This exam score effects what kind of jobs they will be eligible for in the future.
Please keep these students in your prayers!
