Hello Sponsors!

Yesterday, school closed here in Malawi! It was such a fun day! We split up and there was someone from Esther's House at all of the 5 schools our children attend. We cheered, celebrated, high fived and passed out Frozy's (carbonated drinks) to our children! The whole community comes out for these closing days to see which children are going to get to move up to the next grade.

While not all of our children passed yesterday, we are so proud of their hard work this year! They diligently went to school daily and then came and worked some more in the afternoons at Esther's House. We continued to strengthen our tutoring program this year by hiring certified teachers to help us out! We were able to facilitate more small group tutoring and one-on-one help for our struggling students.



Limbani, our oldest residential child, received first in class yesterday! It was so fun to see her house mom Getrude run out celebrating Limbani and embracing her in a hug! First in class is such an honour and we're so proud of Limbani!
