Dear wonderful friends and family,

Things are getting exciting in the Dewey household, and not just because of the World Series! For those of you who do not know, we have been matched with a beautiful little boy, whom we cannot wait to meet. His name is Han Gyeol, and he is 20 months old. We will be giving him the middle name of Robert after both of our dads and calling him Bob. Here's a photo of Bob wearing the Cubs hat we sent him. Go Cubs Go!

Originally, we were told to expect to bring Bob home sometime between March-September 2017, and we braced ourselves for a long wait. I will spare you the boring court proceeding details, but it is now looking like we will surely have him home in or before March! We are shocked by the speed of this adoption! But if the Cubs can make it to the Series, I guess anything is possible, right? 

We also moved out of the group home last week and into a new apartment. It was a pretty great feeling to be able to say to the movers, "Oh, that? Just put that in the baby's room!" We have plenty of unpacking and nesting to keep us busy while we await our court dates and travel dates.
