Children with special needs in Ukraine are often left in their beds for the majority of their lifetime due to a lack of specialized equipment and supplies to support the children's development and mobility.

TEAMworks Ukraine is an amazing group made up of physical, occupational, and speech therapists who are seeking to improve the lives and futures of children with special needs in Ukraine. When traveling to Ukraine, they take over 1,000 pounds of luggage filled with documents, toys, and equipment. 



TEAMworks is sending another team in early October, and we would love to help provide some much-need Developmental Equipment for the children they will be working with. This equipment will help assist with care and treatment of children in Ukraine with special needs. 100% of all project donations go directly to the project!



The specialized developmental equipment enables the therapists to assess the child's needs, develop individualized programs, and facilitate carryover of these programs. The developmental equipment they will take includes: positioning items to promote alignment and prevent bed sores and aspiration; adaptive equipment to facilitate upright posture including standing, sitting, and mobility; developmental toys to enable children to reach milestones; and training materials for caregiver education and follow through.

Not only will these supplies and equipment directly impact the child it is given to, but we pray that it will indirectly help the treatment and care of other children in the future.
