WE ARE APPROVED!

After a few months of multiple home-studies and interviews we received notice a few days ago that we are officially approved!!! We are so excited. This step opens up multiple doors. It means that we may begin applying for grants that we may qualify for. Additionally and very importantly our profile is live on the agency website as well as our profile booklet will be shown to expectant parents. 

For just a little financial break down to this point, including the home-study approval we have paid $13,050 in agency fees. Not included in that is the cost of clearances, required trainings and the profile books. The next upcoming fee would be upon placement of a child of $14,000. In addition to that the  "actual cost" of any legal fees and the birth-mothers medical expenses if needed.

We have made so much progress with all of your support and cannot thank you enough because we literally could not do this without you.

We have also begun preparing a nursery! We have emptied out a room, removed wallpaper and painted! Not much else is added yet but we are excited to begin making it a special little room.
