We are Mike and Joey DeDomenic from Pittsburgh and we are grateful that you have taken the time to hear our story. 

At our core we believe that every human has value, and deserves to be loved and cared for. Early on we knew that our shared heart to love would someday culminate in adoption.

As we dug deeper into what it would take to open up our home to a child in need we have to admit we were quite discouraged to find out just how expensive it was. After years of praying, planning, then saving, & waiting for "the right time" we have decided to push all the reasons why we can't afford to do this aside. We believe that God's desire is for every child to be loved and by waiting for what we see as "the right time" we will only be delaying that longer. 

So, we are excited to announce our plans to adopt and are doing everything we can to be
prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. As it did us, It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. We have already saved about $4,500 to this point to get the ball rolling. This is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We are determined to not let the daunting financial barriers discourage us from doing what we feel is right.

Other than the 5% website fees, 100% of the money we receive will go directly towards the adoption and we plan to keep everyone up to date as we progress through the process.
