I can't believe I am so close to my half-way mark for this trip! I've been busy mowing lawns, clearing out flowerbeds, and cleaning garages earning money to pay for my mission trip. I am grateful to each of you who has donated and/or hired me. We had another training session at church (Centerpoint Church) Monday, April 10. We learned more of what we will do in Armenia, Colombia: how we should talk with the locals, how to tell if a person is receptive to talking about Jesus, and how to be respectful of the locals. One of our team members, Annette, made us a traditional Colombian meal. It was SOOOO good! She made lentil soup that was delicious. I never knew I liked lentils! We closed our training time together praying for one another and for the people of Armenia, Colombia. Please pray that God will continue to mold me and prepare me for this trip. I'm nervous, but I'm excited. Please also pray for the people of Armenia, Colombia...that the Holy Spirit will soften their hearts to the Gospel of Jesus. Also pray for the local Christians as they prepare for us to come alongside them. I am eager to meet them and thank them for allowing us to work with them as they reach their city with the Gospel.
