Lying at the crossroads of the major lines of communication between the Western and Eastern worlds, Constanta is a bustling area of almost 350,000 people. In this major seaport on the western coast of the Black Sea, two million tourists visit the beautiful beaches and nearby mineral spas every year. The 3rd largest city in Romania, with a local state university that accommodates 17,000 students, Constanta is a central and strategic location from which the Gospel can go forth.

The Romanian Orthodox stringently opposes the advancement of the Gospel by ‘evangelicals’! They feel it is a threat to their national heritage, culture and religion. Bible and Baptist evangelical believers are regarded as ‘cult members’. In spite of the opposition, there is a great hunger for the Gospel and we want to seize the moment and impact the entire area for Christ.
e3’s purpose is to work side by side with our Romanian co-workers to plant churches in hundreds and hundreds of villages that do not have an evangelical presence! We accomplish that by daily sharing the Gospel in exciting and creative ways, including children ministry and medical clinics. The medical component of this trip will help in showing the love of Christ in practical ways by assisting those who have physical as well as spiritual needs, and at the same time, build a good foundation of trust and respect for the new church and the new mission pastor in the targeted community. Our medical professionals also have the opportunity to personally lead many to the saving knowledge of Christ, and the discipling of new believers begins that very week.
Come, join us in September, and see what God can do when you let Him!
