When cholera breaks out, we work to sustainably contain it. One of the most effective ways we can do so is to integrate water and sanitation supply with effective health promotion. We structure community-wide, participatory health and hygiene education programs around the provision of improved water and sanitation
infrastructure. Only those approaches that do so have shown long-term success
in reducing disease.
This project will fund the resources and tools Living Water creates to engage and equip Haitian community leaders. Your support will help us pilot a participatory health education program focused on developing "Community Health Clubs" in 2013.
