Dear Family and Friends –
Good news, God is making His presence felt every day. His
work is truly amazing. I’ve learned, faith alone isn’t enough though and in
2018 I’ve been called to combine my faith with action. To take this next step,
you’re invited to be a part of my journey.
Frist and foremost, through prayer. And if possible, financial
donations are a big help. Yep, I’ve been blessed with the hard task of asking for money. It’s
never easy and a little awkward on my end. But, it’s the right thing to do.
Okay, hard part is out of the way. Now for the fun part.
Telling you my story.
In 2015 after volunteering with inner city youth of Portland
for a few years. I had a calling to change my life for the better. This
project, and the greater community helped me to start seeking God and his wonderful
power. With Westside being my home church, I found the best way to get involved
is to give my time. For over a year now, I’ve served the 3-5 graders during
Sunday School every other weekend. And when I learned about a team going to Zimbabwe,
to support Orphans. I said sign me up. James 1v27 came to mind, the power of listening and doing is real.
