Watermark Church will share God's story and demonstrate His love to the people of Ethiopia!
Guys! I'm really excited to be writing this and let everyone know I'm going back to Ethiopia! Last year this trip grew me in so many ways and I'm thankful to get to go back for a second year in a row. The trip last year for me could be marked by one word, TRUST. Last year I learned what it really looked like to trust God through the process of preparing for this trip. I tell everyone that raising money is my least favorite part and is the toughest for me. But God was faithful to put friends and family in my life they showed up in big ways not only to donate money but to pray constantly for the trip and the unreached people of Ethiopia. I also learned what it looked like to trust God's timing and that I am not going over there to save anyone! Part of me thought I was going to save Ethiopia and I was very thankfully let down it the most amazing way. I learned that I am called to just be the hands and feet of God and go care for people and go share the good news. I learned that I am doing nothing but being faithful to share, and that it's something that I shouldn't need to go to another country to do. I am so thankful I got to go and get to go again, but this has just opened my eyes to the fact that I should be this passionate about sharing the gospel in my own backyard of Dallas, Tx. I have a new appreciation for sharing the gospel daily in my life and to be more bold in my faith here at home. I am so thankful to get to go on this trip and I'm always in awe of God and the fact he finds me worthy enough to use me to share his good news. Tanks for taking the time to read this! I am beyond thankful for you
