Our HOPE is is the LORD!

We are excited to share that we are on the journey to adopting a child though domestic infant adoption. We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. 

As part of our adoption process, we are stepping outside our comfort zone to both share our testimony of how God placed this on our hearts and to ask for your prayers and financial support. 

Adoption has always just felt right to us, but it is also scary. There are so many unknowns and so much outside our control - and it is just so expensive. It's long been on our hearts and God has used little things to nudge us, such as last year when Leland asked for a baby brother and then told us about how many orphans there are in the world - "we could adopt one" he said! A seed was planted and recently we felt God say "NOW" loud and clear. 

So here we are, asking you humbly for your prayers and your support. The estimated cost for the adoption is $46,000. These costs go to pay for our home study, post-placement evaluations, travel, adoption agency fees, medical expenses, and legal fees. Candidly, this is our budget: 

• $9,000 - our savings
• $10,000 - adoption loans
• $14,000 - adoption tax credit
• $13,000 - fundraising goal

We have set a goal of raising $13,000 through donations and fundraising events. We are so grateful for your support and encouragement towards reaching this goal. We have chosen to partner with AdoptTogether because all donations through this platform are tax deductible for the giver.
