We are Andy and Jennifer Carlson, and after being told we would never
have children, we are blessed with a house full of kids. Our family:
Emma-8, Eliana-6, Elyssa-4 and Gabriel, 1-1/2; resides just outside
Cincinnati, OH-a fantastic community for large families, adoption and
homeschooling. Watching our children grow into the unique persons they
have been created to be has been one of our greatest joys. We have a
passion for faith and family, knowing that how we choose to live
now-encouraging, supporting, challenging, serving- impacts our world and
our future. Even before marriage we have felt led to share our lives
with children who are in need and are privileged to live out this dream.
Join us as we welcome two siblings from Sierra Leone into our family.
We are currently working with Frank Adoption Center in N.C. The large
numbers and short time frame are overwhelming. While the adoption is
approximately 1 year to completion, our payments have already begun. We currently owe $3,200 to our homestudy agency and $3000 to our primary agency, both of whom are already working on our case-with the entire process costing well more than $45,000. It sounds overwhelmingly impossible, but a fellow adopter had a vision for funding adoptions. Her vision was $5 from less than 10,000 people would provide the needed $45,000+ to allow children to be brought into a loving family. We have faith that through your prayers and support, God
will bring to completion this good work He has started.
