This project is designed to provide basic care for children in difficulty in Ouesse, Benin. These children are orphans, vulnerable children, victims of abuse, extreme poverty, or child trafficking. They are cared for by a local NGO called CAEES (Centre d'Accueil et d'Ecoute des Enfants en Situation difficile). To cover the costs of food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and other basic needs for one month per child costs about $75. For the 20 children who need care on a permanent basis, this translates to about $1500 per month. We're looking to cover the children's needs for an entire year, filling projects on a month-by-month basis.
