Some of you may, or may not know some of this information, but please bear with us (and rejoice with us!!)

We have been eagerly and expectantly trusting the Lord to expand our family since just a few short months after our wedding in 2015. The Lord gave Emily such an incredible love for children at a very young age, and being a wife/mo...ther is something she has longed for for many years.

After about 6 months of trying naturally, We decided it would be best for Emily to be seen by a fertility specialist here in Louisville. We have now had a very hard two-plus year trial of infertility with medical intervention and no success.

We have gone through more in these two years of marriage than we ever could have prepared our hearts for. We have experienced deep sorrow in this season of waiting, and the unknown of if/when the Lord would choose to give us a child. We have been sustained by the truths of the Lord's sovereignty and goodness, and by the consistent prayers and encouragement of the saints, many of whom have even fasted and pleaded with the Lord on our behalf.

After many months of discussing options to grow our family...

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE: We have chosen to pursue Embryo Adoption. Also commonly known as Snowflake Adoption

In the U.S there are roughly 700,000 to ONE MILLION
Frozen embryos, or snowflake babies. These babies are created when a couple goes through the process of IVF to create embryos. However, many couples have anywhere from 1-10+ embryos that they have chosen to not use. Although there are many options for these unused embryos, one God-honoring option is for couples to donate these embryos to be adopted by another couple.

We have a deep burden for these babies that have not yet been given the chance of life, and we have chosen to adopt one (or more) of these frozen embryos. It is a very exciting decision for us and we feel that is a very unique way that the Lord has called us to adopt and care for the least of these. It would give us the opportunity to adopt AND for me to carry a child. Which is really absolutely amazing.

As with any adoption, there are significant financial costs that we will be trusting the Lord to supply.

We are still very early in the process, so our only request at this time is that you rejoice with us and pray that the Lord would bless us with a child (or children!) through this adoption. Pray also that the Lord would sustain us through the long and involved application process.
