When this opportunity was presented to me I was positive it was the right trip, at the right time. I was positive that God would provide the people, opportunities and methods to funding this trip.
I am overwhelmed what you all have done in a very short 3 weeks. Over 30 families have contributed to this trip. That is an army of provision and warriors joining me in Nepal. Some of you gave cash to take care of needed supplies and expenses when traveling, most of you gave online, a few of you checks. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I am so excited about this trip and the opportunity it holds. Selfishly I am excited to see what God does with me in Nepal. Our mission is clear. Provide free healthcare to the farmers and villagers that live deep in the Butwal valley. Then share with them the promise of a living, loving God, and the hope that a relationship through Jesus provides them and their lives.
Most all of the people we will encounter during our week there have deep roots in Hinduism and Buddhism. Many worship a god or gods in a hybrid Buddhist/Hinduism religion. I hope that our God, the creator of the Mountains, fills their heart with a urging to hear the truth of Jesus.
I promise to keep you all up to date. I am so encouraged by your questions, support and interest in this trip.
