The Nelson family began their adoption journey in 2014, working to bring their two daughters (now ages 10 and 13) home from Bulgaria. When they arrived to meet their children for the first time, they made the painful discovery that their daughters had biological brothers living in the same orphanage. The Nelson's realized that to finalized the adoption of their daughters would mean separating this family. The Nelson family has embarked on the journey to bring the brothers home to be reunited with their sisters and to benefit from having a family that loves them unconditionally. Genny and Neil only planned to adopt one time and responsibly saved for many years to pay the for the costs of the adoption with savings. This time, however, they will need help raising the funds necessary to bring two additional children home.
